Sergeant House is a small, unique, premium boutique villa adjacent Unawatuna Beach. It successfully meshes its colonial period style architectural splendor with 21st century luxury in a serene garden setting. The house and the surrounding pavilions are furnished with an elegant array of antique furniture, comfortable lounges and richly textured fabrics allowing guests to relax in style and comfort. It can be booked as a whole or as individual suites. Sergeant House, with its tranquil gardens, ponds and swimming pool, offers an ideal oasis to enjoy the richness of the south west coast and surrounding countryside. It is a unique villa complex composed of individual pavilions and an historic bungalow. These structures are focused around an exquisite swimming pool that wraps around the dining pavilion and cascades towards a lily pond and gardens. Sergeant House was built to reflect the best qualities of Sri Lanka by capturing its colonial past whilst reflecting the contemporary needs of guests.
Experience at the Sergeant House
Total number of rooms & suites 6 and types of the rooms are Sergeant’s Bungalow, Pool Side Pavilion, Long View Pavilion & The Cave. All the rooms are air-conditioned and feature a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a balcony with garden view. They equipped with free Wi-Fi and a bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. The units offer a pool or Courtyard with aquarium.
At Sergeant House you will find a restaurant serving Sri Lankan, continental, Italian and Thai dishes. For an additional charge, guests can relax in the wellness center with one of the many massage treatments.
