A night in Colombo to start with followed by a scenic Air Transfer on a Sea Plane to Ceylon Tea Trails. The misty cold mornings, the endless green fields of tea, food prepared just to your taste and a butler at your service throughout your stay here. Learn the art of tea production, or just relax with your partner with ample privacy and scenes to die for. All this followed by 2 nights at Wild Coast Lodge for a sea-side, wild experience. A feel of an African safari holiday, but with a tropical twist with one side being the thick jungle and the other side being the Indian Ocean.
To make your journey more exciting, activities like Safari’s in the Yala National Park, excursions to Horton Plains, Night walks in Galle Fort, Cooking Class with a local and other little specially curated romantic experiences to keep the fire going through out the Holiday. During your stay at Cape Weligama, you can even try surfing in the famous Weligama Sandy Break. Day 01 - Airport - Colombo
As you land in paradise, check-in to the amazing Paradise Road Tintagel Hotel in Colombo. Immerse in its early 19th Century Architecture and unwind in a romantic executive suite. Visit the city in the afternoon and settle for Tea at the Barefoot Gallery. Browse through the literature from local contemporary artists and even have some tea at the Cafe. Finally settle down for a romantic dinner at Paradise Road Gallery Cafe.

Day 02 - Colombo - Hatton
After a hearty breakfast, check out of Tintagel and proceed to Waters Edge Dome to get on the Cinnamon Air Sea Plane to Hatton. Take the scenic root to the hill country and finally check in to your room in the selected bungalow. Your mealplan at Tea Trails is on All Inclusive basis. Don’t forget to enjoy the amazing High-tea here.

Day 03 - Hatton
Today, after a relaxed morning, go on a tea tour where the resident Tea Planter will demonstrate the age-old tea making process. First, follow the trail of the planters of old Ceylon, as they trekked through the dense jungle looking for the best slopes on which to plant tea. Then on to watch the tea pluckers pick two leaves and a bud with deft hands. Then to the factory where the all-important conversion to “made” black tea happens. The machinery used is of very traditional British design, some as old as 100 years. The process is a very artisanal one, unchanged for a century.

Day 04 - Hatton
Today, leave for Horton Plains at 5am in order to catch the beauty of World’s End before mists descend. The drive would take about 2 hours. A packed breakfast and delicious picnic lunch accompanies you. The tour covers mini World’s End, World’s End and Bakers Falls. In the evening, a leisurely walk or an adventure trek is a delightful way to experience the varied landscapes, exotic flora, abundant birdlife and the sweet rhythm of life in a tea garden. Take in vistas of mountain lakes, manicured tea gardens, forests and doll’s house villages. A guide can be provided or self walk on our marked trails which are selected for varying levels of ability.

Day 05 - Hatton - Yala
After breakfast, take the morning train from Hatton to Ella. We think a honeymoon in Sri Lanka isn’t complete without this amazing scenic train ride also known around the world to be one of the best to experience. Your chauffer will pick you up from Ella and then take you straight to Yala where an amazing 2 night stay in the jungle awaits you.

Day 06 - Yala
Today, early morning, go on a guided game drive to the quietest corners of Yala National Park while expert naturalist guide talks through the incredible diversity of flora and fauna, including elephants, sloth bears and leopards. On your free time, visit some ancient Buddhist sites in the vicinity and also go on a complimentary couples nature walk.
This evening, have a specially prepared 3 course meal on the beach

Day 07 - Yala - Weligama
Today, after a relaxed morning, check out of the Yala and proceed to Weligama where an amazing beach stay awaits you. You can stop for lunch on the way at Amanwella in Tangalle or even Anantara Peace Haven. Finally arrive in Weligama where you will have another butler waiting eagerly to take good care of you.

Day 08 & 09 - Weligama
During your 2 nights stay in Weligama, visit Galle where you will engage in a lovely Night Walk through the Galle Fort. Enjoy a Sri Lankan Cookery Class and don’t forget to try some seafood in the nearby beach clubs and bars and remember to take photograph of a stilt fisherman while you’re there. We will also offer you a 25% discount on a 60 to 90 minute spa package at the Hotel.

Day 08 - Weligama - Airport
Bid a sad farewell to Sri Lanka on this last day. You can squeeze in a lunch in Colombo if your flight is towards the evening and if so, provided that crab is a delicacy for the both of you, we recommend trying the menu at Ministry of Crab. We can even do the reservation for you. Remember to take a few souvenirs with you.
