Itinerary

You will be picked form your Colombo hotel around 0600 hrs and proceed towards your first destination, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is home for close to 100 young elephants who have been expatriate or lost from their natural habitat. You could enjoy the time with the largest mammals of the world, accompany them during their lunch and bath time.

Thereafter, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden plants with attractive, ornamental and medicinal. This garden is home to more than 4000 species inclusive of native and introduced plants and known as the largest orchid collection of Asia.

After your walk in the Botanical Garden, visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is housing the sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Make your experience of history and art of Sri Lanka unforgettable by walking along the beautifully embellished passage ways, halls and walls painted in red, cream and black.

Enjoy your lunch in the prestigious city of Kandy and settle down to witness the Cultural Dance Show. Enjoy the performances of traditional Kandyan dancers accompanied by tumultuous drummers. Relish the traditional dancing items such as Ginisisila, mask dance and cobra dance with wonderful fire-walking acts.

Drive time may vary due to the traffic conditions on the road and we recommend wearing clothes covers your full body as you will be making a visit to Temple of Tooth. Photography stops could be arranged on the way but within locations with reasonable parking areas.
