The Hotel
A spectacular and spacious seven-bedroom luxury property, with a breath-taking view over the jungle and paddy fields below. Three buildings generously house seven bedrooms; the main house, the Garden House and another substantial layer belowbeaut the immense 18-meter infinity pool. This jungle gem also includes a gym, massage room, play room and wonderfully landscaped garden. Despite feeling utterly absorbed by the nature and wildlife all around, Lassana Kanda is only ten minutes from the Galle Coast, although it is unlikely you will ever want to leave this hill top wonder.
Experience at the Amangalla
The villa’s 7 bedrooms feature their own en-suite bathrooms: two of which nestle twin singles whilst the other five boast four-poster king-sized bedding. The white-chiffon drapery is identical within all the suites alongside its stone-built bathrooms. The suites are complemented with fresh florals, satellite television, and air-conditioning to cool the hottest tropical days. The floor-to-ceiling wooden panels act as an enclosure – guests wanting to sleep-in will note that this can help block out the early morning sun. The en-suite bathrooms are immaculate to say the least – all boasting stone-built rustic ambiance. Each bathroom features twin vanities, oversized mirrors, sunken baths, and rain shower facilities.
From the main house guests can access a covered pagoda furnished with a dining table and built-in sofas, set beside the pool. Beneath the pool is a fantastic games room, (equipped with table tennis, satellite TV, games, books, cricket bats and musical instruments), as well as a massage room and gym with treadmill, free weighs, cycling machine, bench and yoga mats. Also located here is a family suite with a four-poster king-size bed, two single beds and adjoining bathroom. Each room looks out through French windows, onto a tranquil landscaped garden, with only the occasional visit from neighboring monkeys.
