There are total 5 rooms, two Deluxe Room and three suites all opening out to city and mountain views. Interiors are furnished with king-size four-poster beds, wardrobe, writing desk and lounge chairs. In-room facilities include a/c, overhead fans, 40-inch LED/LCD TV with satellite channels, mini-bar, tea/coffee facility, electronic safe, and en-suite bathrooms with bath tub and h/w shower.
The menu is extensive and includes Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese and European dishes and a variety of salads. Enjoy a drink by the pool before dinner. Breakfast choices are either European (eggs, toast, porridge and fruit), or Sri Lankan, including string hoppers — rice flour pressed into noodle form and then steamed and served with fish or chicken curry. The Secret Kandy has its own tea factory, serving 25 varieties of tea including blueberry, blackcurrant, mango, peach and strawberry as well as great local coffee.
The open-air pool is compact and right next to the dining area. The hotel offers full-day tuk-tuk tours around town. There’s no spa, but massages can be arranged at other hotels nearby. Staff can be a little distant and surly but are generally friendly enough.
