Experience at the Stone House
There are three Standard Rooms and two spacious Suites opening out to garden and mountain views. Room interiors are tastefully furnished with king-sized beds, wardrobe, writing desk and luggage rack. In-room facilities include a/c, overhead fan, 32-inch LED TV with satellite channels and blue-ray player, mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities and complimentary snacks, safety locker and 24 hour room service. A baby cot can be provided on request. En-suite bathrooms have h/w showers.
You can choose where you wish to dine at Stone House, be it indoors or outdoors. They offer rice based fusion dishes that are both unique and exquisite in taste. Lunch consists of aromatic creations that melt on the tongue releasing their herby goodness. Their chef uses fresh herbs to enliven the dishes prepared by him that include a variety of dishes from starters, to salads, to soups to mains. The dishes maintain the importance of rice as a staple in Sri Lanka, so guests will enjoy the best possible rice and curry dishes. Even some of the desserts are created with rice as the base. Afternoon tea takes on a new meaning at the Stone House owing to the scrumptious spread on offer that includes savories and sweets, with cakes defy description. Of course, all of this is accompanied by the famous Ceylon Tea. Dinner is the crowning glory that heralds the end of another wonderful day spent at the Stone House.
