Mountain View Chalets
Vipassana meaning an insight into the true nature of reality, is a beautiful suite which transports guests into a world of unreality. Vipassana’s immediate neighbours are a family of wild parrots that live in a tree just outside the room. It has a large bedroom, a Dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Vipassana also has its own ‘Antique Library’ with extremely rare ancient coins and works of art made with Ivory used by kandyan royalty more than a century ago. It offers amazing views of the lake as well as the forest. The en-suite bathroom complete with two showers, one out door and one indoor and outsized bath, is decorated with genuine antique pieces and offers an amazing view of the Lake as well as the forest.

Garden View Chalets
The chalets have unhindered views of the lush vegetation surrounding the area with a cosy, secluded feel, ideal for groups and families. The chalets are sold individually as well. The walking distance from these chalets to the main lounge and restaurant is about 10 minutes, but Tuk Tuks are available to shuttle guests back and forth.
